Urban Survival Handbook

Author(s): Harry Cook

Pre-Loved Books | Health and Wellbeing

With an introduction by survival expert Debra Serle MBE, this book illustrates that survival in the city, just as much as in a wilderness, is about attitude, vizualisation and the will to live. By learning to control one's emotions, there is a greater chance of controlling any situation. Urban survival is also about the physical ability to defend yourself. Self-defence moves are clearly illustrated and explained for you to practice at home. With a strong emphasis on teaching practical skills, this book allows readers to anticipate the possible dangers of their everyday environment, to know the best course of action to take in each scenario, and thus protect themselves and those around them.
