The Chinese view depression as a symptom. Chinese medicine integrates body and mind in its treatment.
Depression seems to be growing to epic proportions in Western society. As a practitioner in Chinese medicine, and outside of my research in the subject, I have been asked to assist an ever-growing number of people who have suffered from depression.
I have seen Chinese medicine help transform hopelessness into possibility, helplessness in courage and anxiety into calm. In this book I have stored my wealth of Chinese knowledge about this devastating disease. I have done so because I want to make it widely available to Western sufferers and their families, where it may do most good.
With the help of Bob Flaws, I have written it as a comprehensive guide for lay persons. It instructs readers on preventative techniques, home remedies and how to construct an individual regime to address the problem.
