Collection of recipes interspersed with the author's recollections of his dining experiences in a range of countries including England, Ireland, Belgium and Singapore. Recipes include main course dishes, desserts, breads, vegetables and salads and comfort foods. The author is presenter of the ABC TV series 'Consuming Passions' and initiator of the 'Tasting Australia' food and drink festival in Adelaide. He was awarded the 'Prix de la Profession' at the Festivale Internationale de Tele-Gourmande in France in 1995.
